El
OWH (
Over Withholding) es una cantidad que se cobra
en las declaraciones que llevan producto de banco y que
vuelve a su oficina como bono.
👤 Y para su cliente, ¿qué significa?Que
no tiene que pagarle de su bolsillo: los cargos salen del reembolso. Por eso ofrecer el producto de banco no es cobrarle más — es
darle la opción de no adelantar dinero.
✍️ Usted no lo escribe en la declaraciónEl OWH
no se teclea en cada declaración. Se define
una vez:
· lo indica en su
contrato cuando renueva, o
· nos dice qué cantidad quiere y
nosotros se lo configuramos.

⚠️ Lo que ve ahí es el TOTAL, no solo su OWHEse renglón
suma dos cosas: el
service bureau fee de UpTax
y su OWH. Por eso el número es más grande de lo que usted puso.

El desglose está en su CONTRATO: ahí salen
los dos por separado, y el contrato le enseña también la suma. Si alguna vez no le cuadra el número de la declaración,
el sitio donde comprobarlo es el contrato.
🔁 Cómo se cambiaNos dice qué cantidad quiere y le
enviamos el enlace para actualizar su contrato, así lo revisa y lo confirma usted mismo. Desde el momento en que se actualiza, las declaraciones nuevas salen con la cantidad nueva.
💵 Para qué le sirveEl OWH de la temporada
se le abona a su programa: según cuántas declaraciones con producto de banco haga, puede cubrir una parte — o todo — de lo que cuesta el programa del año siguiente.

¿Y si sobra? Lo que sobre
se le deposita, en
mayo al cerrar la temporada y en
diciembre, a la
misma cuenta que puso en su contrato para los productos de banco.

The
OWH (
Over Withholding) is an amount charged
on returns that carry a bank product and that
comes back to your office as a bonus.
👤 What does it mean for your client?That they
do not have to pay you out of pocket: the fees come out of the refund. Offering the bank product is not charging them more — it is
giving them the option not to front the money.
✍️ You do not type it on the returnThe OWH is
not entered on each return. It is set
once:
· you state it on your
contract when you renew, or
· you tell us the amount and
we configure it for you.
👀 Where you can see it1. On the return, on the
Price sheet — at the bottom, in the
Non-preparer fees block, on the
Service bureau fee line.
2. On the bank application,
EPS App — first page, under
Refund Computation and Fees, on the
Service bureau fee line.
⚠️ What you see there is the TOTAL, not just your OWHThat line
adds two things: the UpTax
service bureau fee and your OWH. That is why the number is larger than what you set.
⭐
The breakdown is on your CONTRACT: there they appear
separately, and the contract also shows the total. If the number on a return ever looks off,
the contract is where you check it.
🔁 How to change itTell us the amount you want and we
send you the link to update your contract, so you review and confirm it yourself. From that moment on, new returns carry the new amount.
💵 What it does for youThe season OWH is
credited toward your program: depending on how many bank-product returns you do, it can cover part — or all — of next year software cost.

And if there is money left over? Whatever is left
is deposited to you, in
May when the season closes and in
December, to the
same account you listed on your contract for bank products.
